Ion Exchange Resins

We provide a range of superior Resins-CATION-C100NA, which are specifically designed for water treatment plants and water softeners. These resins are used for softening the water and removing iron levels. Agrion a-600 mp is a strong base anion exchange resin. Based on styrene divinyl benzene copolymer matrix and having a macroporous structure, it derives its basicity through the quaternary ammonium functional group.

Agrion a-600 mp is synthesized with a controlled pore structure, giving it a high operating capacity and regeneration efficiency, with high resistance to organic fouling.

Agrion a-600 mp is supplied as moist spherical beads in a chloride form.

Counter current regeneration technique is preferred when the silica residual in treated water is required at low levels. It also offers greater regeneration efficiency, giving lower chemical consumption. Counter current operation has to be done with due care to prevent fluidization of ion exchange resin during alkali injection and displacement rinse.
